And I'm glad you asked, because like most everyone I know, life has been crazy lately, and I'm falling way behind in things...including this blog.
Some days, this is how I feel....will I ever get caught up?
For those of you that may not know, God blessed us with a new, larger home, and we moved about 3 weeks ago. Although we are pretty much settled into our new home, we still need to hang pictures, add some rugs, and make it more our "own." And... now the holidays are upon us.
I love decorations. But to be honest, I don't enjoy decorating. It stresses me out big time. And then when it's all over, everything has to be put away. I'm kind of tired of putting things away right now, so the thought of putting out decorations right now, well......let's just not think about it right now.
What I do want to think about is the exciting promises that each new day presents! "It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23
Because of God's faithfulness, each new day is a new opportunity. I get a fresh, new Start Over, every day. How awesome is that!!
So, here I am starting over this morning! Today's message is short and sweet, and I hope it's a good reminder to find joy in today's opportunities. For that matter...each second is a new opportunity. Let's leave what didn't get done, or past hurts, or frustrations behind us ASAP.....because then we have more time to catch up on what is important right this moment!
And it's never too early!!!
